Our Philosophy on Sourcing Single-Origin Ayurvedic Herbs

Formulations prescribed through Dr. Bali's clinic are made from single-origin botanicals: one ingredient, one region that can be named and traced. This is the standard behind what he prescribes, from that ground to a tested, finished formulation.

The Provenance Atlas

Nine regions, each chosen for one botanical.

From shilajit collected above 4,000 metres to boswellia resin tied to one of the oldest trade routes on earth. Select a region to see its terroir.

The standard

Source. Test. Compose. Re-check.

Four steps, in this order, behind every formulation dispensed from the clinic. The order matters: nothing is blended before it is verified, and nothing is dispensed before it is verified again.

  1. Source at origin

Each botanical is bought from the region it grows best, not from a commodity spot market. One ingredient, one place that can be named.

  2. Test for identity & purity

Before anything is blended, an independent lab confirms the species is what the label says and screens it for heavy metals, pesticides and microbes.

  3. The physician sets the formulation

Dr. Bali prescribes from classical formulation principles, and each in-house formulation follows the ratio and form the texts set out. This is the formulation logic Ayurveda has refined over centuries.

  4. Re-check the finished formulation

The blended formulation is tested again before it is dispensed, so the certificate a patient reads describes what is actually in their hands.

Who stands behind a formulation

The formula is set by the physician, not a trend report.

Classical formulation principles are the reasoning behind every formulation Dr. Bali prescribes. These are the disciplines that stand behind it.

    The prescribing physician

Dr. Arvinder Singh Bali, BAMS, prescribes from classical formulation principles after assessment. The texts guide the composition of each in-house formulation, not market trends.

  • Botanical identity

    Pharmacognosy

Specialists in plant chemistry confirm species and standardise actives, so 'ashwagandha' is the right Withania species at the right strength.

  • Quality & compliance

    Quality assurance

A quality lead audits each supplier and holds every batch to the same documentation standard, from field to finished formulation.
