Ayurveda vs Allopathy: An Honest Comparison

Neither system replaces the other. Conventional medicine leads in emergencies, acute infection, advanced disease and diagnostics. Classical Ayurveda is strongest in chronic and recurring conditions where diet, digestion and routine drive the problem. Dr. Bali works alongside your doctor and never asks you to stop prescribed medication.
Piles (haemorrhoids)
Neither system is better for every case of piles.
Arthritis
For arthritis the answer depends on the type.
PCOS
Conventional medicine treats PCOS symptom by symptom: the pill for cycles and acne, metformin for insulin resistance, letrozole for ovulation.
Acidity and reflux
Conventional medicine is faster for acidity and reflux: PPIs settle symptoms within days, endoscopy finds ulcers and Barrett's changes, and H. pylori is tested for and treated.
Psoriasis
Conventional medicine has strong tools for psoriasis: topical steroids and vitamin D analogues for limited plaques, phototherapy, methotrexate, and biologics that clear moderate to severe disease in many patients.
Anxiety
For anxiety, conventional care leads when symptoms are severe, when panic or suicidal thoughts are present, or when daily function has collapsed: CBT and SSRIs have the strongest evidence.
Type 2 diabetes
Conventional medicine leads in diabetes: type 1 always needs insulin, and metformin, newer drugs and HbA1c, eye, kidney and foot checks are proven to prevent complications in type 2.
